23-47937 – DCSO Crime Alert

Douglas County – On 06/05/2023 at around 4:00 a.m., at least three unknown suspects entered the Pradera neighborhood south of Parker. They entered an unlocked garage, and stole a black 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee (lic plt # CJD-H91). They also entered the garage of a different home in that same neighborhood and attempted to steal a black Audi SUV. On 06/05/2023 at around 11:00 p.m., those same unknown suspects and 2 additional suspects came back to the second house in Pradera and stole the same black Audi SUV they tried to steal earlier that morning. In addition to stealing the Audi, they trespassed several vehicles in the neighborhood trying to steal property left inside. After leaving the Pradera neighborhood they went to the Pinery Glen neighborhood, near Bayou Gulch Road and S Parker Road., and trespassed several additional cars trying to steal more property. At around 3:30 a.m. on 06/06/2023, those same suspects went to multiple addresses in a neighborhood near Lincoln Avenue and Pine Drive. At one address, they entered the garage and rummaged through a car. At another, they stole a black 2017 Cadillac CTS (lic plt # OVJ-056). Patrol deputies located the Audi SUV and Cadillac CTS leaving that neighborhood and initiated a pursuit. The pursuit was ultimately terminated and the suspects were not apprehended. The Audi SUV was recovered in Denver, but the Jeep Cherokee and the Cadillac CST are still missing. All of the cars the suspects entered were unlocked. They used garage door openers from those cars to access several of the garages, and the stolen cars had keys left in them.

Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). You can remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward.
