(Castle Pines, Colorado) Arresting criminals knows no age limit. Two juveniles were taken into custody for an early morning incident involving a stolen truck and a handgun.
Early this morning, deputies responded to the report of individuals possibly breaking into cars in Castle Pines. A black truck was associated with the suspects. Deputies located the truck, which had been stolen out of Denver. They attempted to stop it, but the driver refused and sped away. Deputies were able to stop the truck, and two juvenile males were taken into custody. A handgun was also located in the truck.
The driver, a 15-year-old from Aurora, faces charges associated with motor vehicle theft and possession of a handgun. The passenger, a 16-year-old male from Aurora, faces charges of possession of a handgun and attempted motor vehicle trespass.
