Seizure funds

Federal Asset Forfeiture Funds

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Douglas County Impact Unit participate in the Federal Asset Forfeiture Program and are, therefore, required to submit Equitable Sharing Agreement and Certification (ESAC) forms by no later than February 28th of each year.  These forms reflect all federal seizure activity for the prior fiscal year.  The 2016 reports have been submitted to the Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Section at the US Department of Justice and can be viewed by clicking below.

Seizure Board Meetings & Approvals

The respective Seizure Boards (i.e., the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Seizure Board and the Douglas County Impact Unit Seizure Board) are committed to transparency and conduct all Seizure Board meetings in accordance with Colorado’s open meeting laws.
