*Update to the shooting that occurred 05/03/2023 at the Apex Apartments*
Quari Marquell Mitchell Kyle DOB: 08/31/1995 and Nicole Carrington, DOB: 07/17/1994 have been arrested and are currently in custody at the Douglas County Jail in association to the incident. The investigation is still ongoing, no other information can be released at this time. Sheriff Weekly said, “Our outstanding detectives have been working around the clock on this case. We will continue to work hard to apprehend everyone associated with this shooting. We are fortunate no innocent bystanders were shot. If you commit crimes like this in Douglas County we will find you to ensure justice is served.”
