Sheriff Weekly always knew he wanted to serve his community and has done so for over 30 years. For at least the last 10 years, he has had his sights set on another dream, one that only the top 1% of law enforcement leaders worldwide are accepted to attend.
Well, mission accomplished. Sheriff Weekly has just graduated from the prestigious FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. The FBI National Academy was founded in 1935 and is renowned for its rigorous training program, including advanced communication, leadership, and fitness training. This program is designed to enhance the skills of top law enforcement leaders, preparing them to tackle today’s complex challenges and more effectively serve their communities.
“My FBI National Academy experience and training have sharpened my skills to better serve and protect Douglas County. I’ve worked hard and made many personal sacrifices to achieve this goal. It was a privilege to join top law enforcement leaders from across the globe to share our experiences and learn from one another,” said Sheriff Weekly.
Congratulations, Sheriff Weekly, on this remarkable achievement. Thank you for your commitment to our Office and the Douglas County community. Your success reflects your dedication to serving and protecting us all. We are honored to have you as our Sheriff and are excited for the future under your continued leadership.
