Brandon Lenderink Emergency Management Deputy Director

Brandon has 10 years’ experience in all aspects of emergency management planning and 12+ years’ experience in public safety. He has proven to have exceptional emergency management skills combined with a track record of developing and supporting a successful program. Prior to joining Douglas County, Brandon spent 9 years with the city of Aurora OEM, and 3 years prior as the OEM Director in Elbert County.
Brandon has developed strong leadership, strategic planning, managerial, and communication skills to lead and accomplish many program goals during that time.
He chooses to lead with passion, reason, and the courage to challenge himself and the organization to be better today than it was yesterday. He is committed to the proposition that we must never assume we are good enough and must always strive to improve.
Brandon is a husband and a father to 3 daughters. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring, fly fishing, woodworking, reading, and studying.
