NARRATIVE: DOUGLAS COUNTY, CO – A Franktown man has been arrested for an incident that occurred on March 28, 2022, at the Stagecoach Bar in Franktown, CO.
Shortly before midnight on March 28th, deputies were called to the Stagecoach Bar, located at 2077 N Hwy 83 in Frankton, CO, on the report of shots being fired outside the bar following an altercation that occurred inside. The suspect had just left the scene in a vehicle.
When deputies arrived at the bar, the victim relayed that the suspect had physically assaulted him inside the bathroom. As the victim was attempting to leave the bar the suspect followed him outside, where another altercation occurred. The suspect then retrieved a firearm and started shooting in the direction of the victim. The victim was not hit. The suspect fled the scene before deputies arrived. At the time a physical address for the suspect was not located.
Early the next day, March 29th, detectives were able to locate an address for the suspect and did find him at that location. We also appreciate the assistance of the Castle Rock Police Department in helping us locate the suspect’s vehicle, utilizing their FLOCK system. The suspect:
Alfredo Manuel Gonzalez DOB 08/30/1988 was taken into custody and transported to the Douglas County Detention Facility where he was booked in on the following charges:
Attempted 1st Degree Murder
Felony Menacing
3rd Degree Assault
Bond is currently set at $50,000. This is still an open investigation, and no other information will be released at this time.
