Former STEM School Teacher Arrested for Kidnapping and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor

(Douglas County, CO) On February 20, 2025, Douglas County Detectives with the Special Victims Unit arrested 44-year-old Tera Johnson-Swartz on charges of kidnapping and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She was previously a teacher at STEM School Highlands Ranch.

She is currently being held in the Douglas County Detention Facility. A charge is merely an accusation; the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
