Facebook Market Place Scam

I just got scammed by someone who said that they were rehiring baby bearded dragons on Facebook. I had been talking to him for the past two months and today I paid for the bearded dragon and he said that he was going to deliver it by 4 pm today. I waited for 1 and a half hours and he never showed. I sent him many messages and he never responded then he finally responded and said “oh I’m sorry but when I was on my way to drop off your pet I got pulled over. So I don’t know when you will be getting your bearded dragon. I told him that I could come get her he said ok then when I asked for his address he never replied. Messaged him multiple more times asking for the address no response. So now I lost 250 and I have no pet dragon.
