(Douglas County, CO) While on his way into work this afternoon, #DCSO Deputy Skalisky spotted a tornado touching down in neighboring Elbert County. He called it into Douglas Regional Dispatch and then immediately started checking on nearby residents, assessing the damage, and ensuring there were no gas leaks. Deputy Skalisky, who is also a trained paramedic, was in the right place, at the right time.
