Tenacity and Determination by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and DA’s Office Results in Lengthy Prison Sentence

Yesterday, Grey Gosselin DOB 06-13-1991, received a 36-year prison sentence for motor vehicle theft, as a habitual offender.  The incident, which occurred in May of 2023, detailed a dangerous crime spree by Gosselin that involved a stolen vehicle, a gun, and drugs. He also received an additional 15-month sentence for an incident that occurred while he was in jail.  Court documents also show that he stated that he probably would have shot the cops if his magazine hadn’t fallen out of his gun.

“The commitment and dedication displayed by our detectives and the District Attorney’s office throughout the investigation and legal proceedings were truly commendable. Together, we have sent a strong message that criminal activities will not be tolerated and that our team is relentless in its pursuit of justice,” Sheriff Weekly said.
