NARRATIVE: DOUGLAS COUNTY, CO – On May 15, 2020, at around 7:00pm, deputies responded to the 300 block of Ovida Pl in Castle Pines on a report that there had been a shooting.
Once on scene deputies discovered a white male deceased inside of the home. During the investigation it was learned that a disturbance had occurred just prior to the shooting. An adult male, Dominique Wogan, DOB 06-27-1986, was taken into custody and transported to the Douglas County Detention Facility where he was booked in on the following charges:
18-3-103 Murder in the Second Degree F3
18-12-108 Possession of Weapons by Previous Offender F6
Wogan is being held without bond, until his court appearance on Monday.
It is believed that Wogan and the victim were known to each other.
The Douglas County Coroner’s Office will be responsible for making positive identification of the victim as well as cause and manner of death.
