Jenn Wiechmann Emergency Management Coordinator

Jenn joined the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in November 2022. Prior to joining Douglas County, Jenn worked as the Director of Emergency Management for Ward County, North Dakota for 3.5 years, as a training and exercise consultant for 4 years, and volunteered as a Firefighter/EMT for Minot Rural Fire Department for 4 years.

Jenn’s duties include planning, training and exercises, and emergency management coordination of disasters in Douglas County. She is a member of the regional Training and Exercise, and Emergency Management Committees.

Jenn is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Service and Public Policy (Emergency Management and Homeland Security) and a Master of Arts Degree in Emergency Management and Homeland Security.
