Press Conference Reference Officer Involved Shooting That Occurred On September 2, 2016

                        Steve Brite, Detective Dan Brite’s Brother

DOUGLAS COUNTY, CO – Sheriff Tony Spurlock and 18^th Judicial District Attorney George Brauchler will speak about what happened the afternoon of September 2^nd, and the current status on the investigation of the officer involved shooting.

Parker Adventist Hospital’s Trauma Medical Director, Dr. Chris Winter, will speak about the life-saving care provided to Detective Brite and his current medical condition.

Detective Dan Brite’s Brother, Steve, will speak on behalf of the entire Brite family and thank the community for the outpouring of support from across the state.

There will be an opportunity questions and answers after the initial statements. This is still an open and active investigation and many details of the investigation may not be released at this time.
