Joint Death Investigation

Updated Information (3:45 pm):   the two deceased persons at the incline are an adult male and a juvenile male. The deceased person at the Blackwolf address is an adult female.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Parker Police Department are conducting a joint death investigation at two separate locations.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 13000 Block of Ancestry Drive at 8:51 this morning on a medical call. Deputies discovered two deceased individuals. At approximately 10:15 a.m., #DCSO requested that the Parker Police Department conduct a welfare check at a home on Blackwolf Drive in Parker.

While at the Blackwolf address, Parker Officers found a deceased individual in the home and noticed a gas leak. Officers evacuated homes in the area, and South Metro Fire Rescue responded and assisted with the gas leak.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Parker Police Department believe these two incidents are related, and there is no additional threat to the community. This is an active investigation, and we will share more information when it becomes available. The Douglas County Coroner’s Office will be responsible for the official identification of the deceased parties, as well as the cause and manner of death.
