This scam was initiated via an email from Xfinity (comcast) that provided a 50% reduction in the monthly fee along with deferred payments for 22 months. Thereafter the reduced fee would be continued at the lower rate for an indefinite period. This was described as a promotion with Target with an offer to open a Target credit card or the purchase of Target gift cards for the upfront payment of 22 months at the reduced rate.
I did not get back to them, however I am sure this is a scam.
