Community Resources works with residents, businesses, and schools to teach them about crime prevention.   We want to keep an open dialogue with you, to maintain the best service and law enforcement across Douglas County.

The unit also lets you know what’s happening in Douglas County via media releases, magazines about the office, tweets, and Facebook postings.

When there are disasters or emergencies, we will be the first to tell you about it with timely, urgent messages and how you can best prepare.  We also teach seniors and students about safety and provide tips to help prevent Identity Theft, avoid scams and cons, robbery, and burglary prevention.
