One of the worst scams out there because it plays on our strongest emotion, love. The suspect is extremely patient to build that emotion and trust. When the trust is established, they will start asking for money. Sometimes it is in lower figures, but it always becomes part of the “normal conversation”, “can you send me more money?” etc. DO NOT GIVE MONEY TO ANYONE UNTIL YOU MEET THEM IN PERSON.
