January 11 Joint Death Investigation Update

January 11 Joint Death Investigation Update

The Parker Police Department and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office would like to provide the community with an update on the January 11 death investigation of three people on Blackwolf Drive in Parker and the Reuter-Hess Incline in Douglas County. Investigators believe Brandon Timms, age 38, fatally shot Angel Meyers, age 43, at the Blackwolf Drive residence. He then drove with a juvenile male to the Incline before fatally shooting the juvenile and himself.

As released earlier, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 13000 Block of Ancestry Drive on a medical call at 8:51 a.m. on January 11. Deputies discovered two deceased individuals. At approximately 10:15 a.m., The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office requested that the Parker Police Department conduct a welfare check at a home on Blackwolf Drive in Parker. While at the Blackwolf address, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Parker Officers found a deceased individual in the home and noticed a gas leak. Officers evacuated homes in the area, and South Metro Fire Rescue responded and assisted with the gas leak.

This is still an ongoing and active investigation. No further information will be released at this time.
