Crime Alert! Sheriff’s Office Needs Help Identifying These Criminals

In the past month, we, along with other law enforcement agencies near us, have been hit hard by several vehicle trespasses, catalytic converter thefts, and an aggravated assault involving the occupants of this blue Jeep Grand Cherokee. These criminals haven’t committed just one kind of crime; their spree includes breaking car windows and stealing valuables inside, breaking the front glass door of a local business and stealing items inside the store, as well as an incident where a person was shot in the arm with a BB gun pellet outside a local store. Recent cases in January involve catalytic converter thefts and an eluding incident in Highlands Ranch.
The vehicle is an older model (possibly 2002-2004), dark blue Jeep Grand Cherokee with a missing front bumper, dark tinted windows, a white sticker on the upper right corner of the back window, and no plates.
Additional information leads us to believe that there are four suspects involved: a White or Hispanic male with an average build and black chin hair, a White or Hispanic female with an average build, dark hair, and glasses, a Hispanic male in his 30s or 40s heavy set, and a Hispanic female in her 30s and 40s heavy set.
Please watch out for this vehicle in your neighborhood; if you spot it call our non-emergency number right away, 303-660-7500. If you have information about this vehicle, the suspects, or the crimes, please call our Major Crimes Tip line at 303-660-7579.
